Good morning!
It’s Sunday, and I’ve taken us down into the woods to experience one of my favorite moments in autumn. Peak leaf season is over. Gone are the flashes of brilliant red against green, the romance of a single leaf tumbling through the air.
Listen closely and you may think it’s raining—but it’s not. You’re hearing the sound of hundreds of thousands of leaves flocking to join their friends on the forest floor.
A light wind helps them along, and we’re here to witness it.
“Forward, forward let us range,
Let the great world spin for ever down the ringing grooves of change.”—Alfred, Lord Tennyson
Onwards we go,
Clara
