Good morning!

It’s Sunday, and we’ve earned ourselves a moment away from it all. To the long dirt road we go, down the Hill That Requires a Commitment, past Old Man Cooter’s hideout, beyond the bear path and my great grandfather’s apple trees and a thousand other hidden landmarks, until we reach a secret opening in the woods. Through, over, up, and across we go until we reach this secluded spot.

No cars, no boats, no planes, no power lines, not even any other humans for miles.

Perfect.

“Let us… seek peace… near the inland murmur of streams, and the gracious waving of trees, the beauteous vesture of earth, and sublime pageantry of the skies. Let us leave ‘life,’ that we may live.”

—Mary Shelley

Onwards,

Clara
