Good morning! It’s Tuesday, and after a very long day of jostle and zoom and rumble and whoosh, we’ve returned to the land of familiar sheets and friendly shadows. Big trips always leave the mind feeling like a snow globe that’s been shaken. Today we sit and watch the flakes swirl and settle.
Welcome home! I feel like your trips alter me just a tiny bit. We travel often, sometimes in planes and ships but more often in a camper. It inflates me to anticipate and leave for a trip and returning home resettles me. Thank you, thank you for including us in your travels.
So glad you are back safe and sound! And so glad you had that wonderful time in Paris. You are wonderful to share your days with us! Happy Thanksgiving.🦃🍁
Welcome back! I'm happy that you made it back before the big holiday storm. I saw how the Thanksgiving week storm was going to move to Maine and snow there. Guess it has already started there! I am sure that your birds and other animal friends are happy to see you back! Rest up! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
The photo felt like, “Whew! I’m home!” to ME! 🙃And I had a wonderful optical illusion: it looked like a gorgeous translucent cloth with red print, laid on a table of golden wood! Just beautiful 🤩
Welcome home. Your thought and quote started an interesting conversation in our home. We have cousins who always long for home, and, it seems, miss some of the travels because of homesickness. My stepson is a world traveler, and when asked by me, said he does not miss "home", but feels home in the world. I always want my cats wherever we are, but not home per se - just the kitties. And when we are in Maine or Scotland I feel at home, and never want to leave. I suspect that a lot of it matters in how connected you are to where you live, in the first place. I feel that you live in an ideal place, and am so happy for you that you are there.
Welcome back :-) the month flew by!!! and I loved your time in Paris. The sunlight through the window on the carpet feels so much like HOME! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones.

Perfect!!
Fantastic quote. So happy you were able to board that plane! Enjoy what I hope for you is a snow and not a rain storm.

Oh this quote is so accurate!!!
Love the quote! It is exactly right!
One of the greatest pleasures is coming back to a home that feels like you never left. May everyone experience that at least once in their life.
The best part of traveling is coming home to your own bed!
Welcome back, and I absolutely love that quote!!!
