Good morning! It’s Friday, and our time in Paris is drawing to a close. Yesterday we rode through the rain to the Louis Vuitton Foundation to see the Mark Rothko retrospective, which was phenomenal. It rained on our way there, and it rained on our way back, much like it has rained on and off every day since we got here. But as someone rightly commented, it’s easy to pretend that the rain in Paris is somehow fancier, more romantic than what you get back home.
Really loved this❣️So uplifting on a rainy day, even though you’re too right: nothing fancy nor romantic about the rain in MY neighborhood compared to Parisian drops on Parisian windows❣️👍
"that the rain in Paris is somehow fancier"
Mais bien sûr! [expansive hand gesture] Everything in Paris is fancier!
Longfellow! Winnie the Pooh also could have said that.
I'm so sorry this trip was filled with rainy days, but as you said, when the sun does come out, it's glorious.❤️
That looks quite wet! Thank you so much for including us all. It’s nice to see a location through the eyes of someone else. I hope your trip accomplished what you envisioned. Have a safe and smooth trip home.
Wah! Please stay longer! What will I do without your daily posts of Paris? Thank you so much for taking us along-it has been wonderful! (When do we go back??) (Oh, sorry...I'm being very selfish!!)❤️❤️❤️
Thanks, Clara, for taking us with you to Paris! You are the best tour guide!
I’ll never see raindrops the same way again! Little faces!🥰
I really like this photo. The lights look so cool amongst the glittering raindrops.
The faces in the raindrops were something that I had to flip back to see.! You are right!
It's supposed to rain here in NY as well
Like a Monet painting which seems fitting
I can't wait for it to rain here.
I went back to look at the raindrop faces!🤣
Photo reminds me of Indra net of jewels. ❤️
I think I can see some faces in those raindrops. Thank you Clara.💖😌☔
