Good morning! It’s Monday. Over the weekend we visited a small, privately run museum dedicated to the arts of the Belle Epoque fairground. It’s set in the restored wine cellars of Bercy, a mostly industrial area on the eastern edge of the city. (Bercy is also home to a large arena that happens to be hosting Madonna this evening, and no, we aren’t going.)
Oh, that sounds wonderful! As I'm only getting to this at 11:21 PM EST, I'll have to promise to play tomorrow. And I will.
What a unique little museum you found! I love the concept and the requisite playing. The day is half over here, but I think I can promise to find a little time to play yet. Wonderful Fred Rogers quote too!!
We’re driving the length of CA again today, so the best I can do is promise to play with my knitting!
Thank you, Clara, for always bringing joy and amazement to my mornings!
Well that sounds just lovely!
OMG how fabulous is this!! And you got to go there!
What a treasure ! I’m glad that you had so much fun.
Sounds like a blast from the past!! Thanks for sharing. Keep enjoying your time away!
The day started with a clear dark sky, so I played games with the stars and planets, satellites and shooting stars - a kind of celestial hide and seek! Top that off with a quote from Mr. Rogers and La Belle Chat purring on my lap - perfect! Thank you, Clara :-)
Yesterday, we took our 7 month old on the carousel at the local mall (which we are very lucky to have) and it was the BEST.
It’s pouring down lovely, rich sunshine here; a perfect day to play outside. My cats are already outside, perfectly content.
Sounds like my kind of place - and I love Fred Rogers! He helped raise my kids.
I love this photo! Elephants have a special place in my heart. That museum sounds absolutely amazing!!! Today’s quote really resonated with me too!
How fabulous. I love the premise-no holding back or worrying about making a fool of yourself. So grand.
I will remember that today Clara. It's easy to forget to play these days.💖😌
