Good morning!
It’s Sunday, and the ground has frozen enough for us to walk down to the water without having to wear mud boots or cleats. The buoy is being especially vocal this morning, but the bay is also managing to make its opinions known to all who’ll listen.
I’ve packed us a thermos and brought blankets so we can bundle up, sip from our thermoses, and listen to what the water has to say.
But first, we stand here and take it all in.
“All knowledge and understanding of the Universe was no more than playing with stones and shells on the seashore of the vast imponderable ocean of truth.”
—Isaac Newton
Onwards we go,
