Good morning! It’s Tuesday, and while the Pitch Pine Invitational takes place up the hill, a far more glamorous snowy scene is unfolding in front of the house. The echinacea seed heads have decided to use the snow for a reenactment of the Ascot scene from My Fair Lady, but with all the hats being grand poofy fur ones like they wore in Dr. Zhivago.
Your message this morning really made me smile! Thank you and also thanks for your article at MDK!! I like the Nimoy quote! I have a bright chilly day here in my neck of the woods and I am going to smile and get chores on my computer done!
What a wonderful Nimoy quote, thank you Clara.😌💖❄️
Amazing photo! There are the larger 'hats' but they're mirrored by many tiny hats of the same shape just much smaller. Gorgeous.
So delightful
Beautiful❣️And another wonderful oneliner❣️

Great quote
Leonard Nimoy was right!
Such lovely hats!
Those seed heads are just the most magical!
The quote is simply logical!
I thought it was unpicked cotton in winter. It’s beautiful!
Leonard Nimoy is spot on.
Love the hats. I am loving the green and white combinations of the evergreens and snow also.
Inspiration for dyeing colorways.
Oh how beautiful! They certainly have a sense of style!
Another nice dusting of snow!
Lovely scenery!
Thanks for the explanation. I thought they were engaged in a snowball war with the pitch pines.
