Good morning!
It’s Tuesday, and while the Pitch Pine Invitational takes place up the hill, a far more glamorous snowy scene is unfolding in front of the house. The echinacea seed heads have decided to use the snow for a reenactment of the Ascot scene from My Fair Lady, but with all the hats being grand poofy fur ones like they wore in Dr. Zhivago.
How do these humble flowers know so much about cinema? I asked that question myself. It turns out, their location in the flower bed gives them a prime spot to watch movies through the living room window. We, in return, try to watch plenty of films with the most spectacular costumes, just to see what they come up with next.

Onwards we go,

During our recent snow apocalypse here in SW Ohio, our bird feeders volunteered to guard the yard and our house dressed like the royal guards at Buckingham Palace. It was quite a display with cardinals, etc. flitting all around trying to make them laugh!
In days gone by I had a hat like that. Beautiful!
