I just got to this recording and photo today. They are heavenly to listen to/look at, even as more snow falls from the sky and this next week is forecast to be the coldest of the winter.
I loved the crickets but I also dearly miss snow. (I moved from MI to WA) It's WAAAY more fun than days of rain on end. I know, this particular storm is likely to involve power outages and being stuck indoors...oh, wait, we're in a pandemic anyway. Hope you come thru well and can enjoy the snow.
Perfect sounds. We got the West'er of rain, and now same storm over you. Love that we are all connected in that way - like looking at the same stars. Hope you can stay in, stay warm, and can knit by the fire.
I've missed a good snowfall this winter so I'm kind of looking forward to the foot or more predicted. I know, be careful what you wish for.... It's February, snow's OK. Just don't carry it too far into March. I'll be ready for that summer view and crickets and returning birdlife and butterflies by April - which in Northern New England is always a month too early.

It’s been snowing for 36 hours here in Virginia but fairly lightly. But still, a snowy world always makes me happy!
