You have a wonderful way of telling a story, whether it is about wool or a fanciful tale about a tiny piece of nature that has undergone personification and has their own story to tell. It has been a while since you put out a book, and they always end too soon!
I look forward to the joy you bring to me each morning amongst the sadness in the world. I can’t do much about the sadness but I can choose joy. A book would be enjoyed but the anticipation of what you are going to say each day I love. Thank you for spreading joy.
Like listening to Morgan Freeman narrate anything, I would read your grocery and to do list!!! (My first reaction to your request was, Sailorly, “h3ll yes”. 🤩
Your stories make me chuckle and reflect on how I can choose to engage with my day. I love the descriptive personalities you create for flora, fauna, and other non-human objects. Thank you for sharing your writing talent and imagination with us.
Imagining a set of cards from which I could blindly select a respite, with your beautiful photography on the reverse of each (say 365 of them?!?!) blessings on your way 💕
Your daily respite is a favorite and I love the wool channel. I think a book of respite would be wonderful. I appreciate your imagination and creative thought. The quotes are fabulous and often turn me on to authors I haven't visited yet. Thank you so much for this gift.
Thank you Clara. I was thinking of doing something similar, but because I don't live close to water, using candles. I might write those things I want to let go on little pieces of paper, burn them(carefully), and then scatter the ashes on the ground outside.💖😌 And I am very interested in your book idea.

"Place in the water all those things you don’t want to take with you into the new year. Set it afloat and let it go."
That is such a sweet idea. Happy 2024, with calm seas and fair winds.
A new beginning doesn’t have to mean starting over.

OMGOODNESS yes! An audio version would be DELIGHTFUL!! 🤩🥰🤸

Setting our 2023 detritus afloat to wash in some 2024 hope is a lovely idea. And A Little Respite Book would be wonderful.
Sigh. Deep breath. I'm ready!
Clara, I admire your work. I would be very interested. D
I think I’d love this as a bedside book, one I pick up to shift direction, not always in the morning
A perfect set of thoughts for my quiet time and walk, even though I am farther from the water’s edge😉

Clara, I would gift your book of respite to those who are not familiar with your work.

Your daily respites have kept me afloat since Day 1. Thank you!
