Like the honking of geese, the cheeping of peepers immediately has me rolling my window down and trying not to squish any as I drive along. So spring!

Yes! Whilst at my Maine homestead, the peepers were deafening. Oh, joy! When I caught the distant sound of some in my NH suburb!! ...soil and soul...

My cat wasn’t quite sure what to think about that, she came running over to me and tilted her head from side to side like my dog does 😂 I found it to be quite soothing!

The only sounds I hear at night right now are a group of coyotes (in our suburban neighborhood) looking for a good time.
