Good morning!
It’s Saturday, and we’ve returned home to far more spring than what we left behind.
Last evening, after unpacking the car and putting everything away, I stepped outside to smell the air and listen to the raindrops on the porch roof.
But instantly my ears heard something else—something they’ve been waiting for, something that provides irrefutable proof that our world is reawakening. The peepers have returned!
So turn up the volume, close your eyes, and listen as thousands of tiny amorous frogs sing their very hearts out.
“There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature — the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter.”
—Rachel Carson
Onwards,
Clara
