Good morning! It’s Tuesday, and October is here. Yesterday I headed to Blue Hill to run errands. Blue Hill is our closest “town,” although you still have go to another 30 minutes to find a traffic light.
What a fabulous place Blue Hill must be! I wd love to go there… even live there, except for Maine winters. Boyohboy. I don’t think I’ve ever had that kind of character! Still dreaming of a summer rental, tho❣️😊
That beauty still has seeds left. The migrating birds apparently found my patch when I was off on a girls weekend. I was only going to save seeds from one of the 10 or 12 heads, but alas, they have all gone to a greater good.
Happy sunflowers! I too live in a small town, one grocery store (which makes the BEST burritos, the tourists stop there on their way to the Pinnacles National Park down the road) and a Post Office which has a garden so the patrons can pick up a squash along with their mail if they wish. I think Blue Hill must be put on my places to visit list!
You must live in a very magical place if you have these glorious sunflowers 🌻 by your post office… ours has weeds. Glad you got to bask in its glory!
That is one big sunflower ! Happy critters benefitted from that one !
I love Blue Hill and I've been to that library. We have several Blue Hill pottery pieces, which I treasure. Hello Sunshine flower!
Oh no, there's pottery????
What a beauty!! Sunflowers are guaranteed to bring out the smiles.💛👍

I love sunflowers!
OMG this one is huge!
Sunflowers are always so happy and smile inducing; also there were my mom’s favorite flower, so they have a special place in my heart. ❤️
