Even though I'm a paid subscriber, I have not received The Daily Respite ever since Clara started (coincidentally?) posting videos. I have struggled forever with Substack only to be sent in circles or to useless dead ends. Please, can anyone help me figure out how to start receiving these again? Yes, I've checked the Spam folder, and yes I tried the "Test" email from Substack, which did not arrive either. I can't just sign up again because I've already paid. I feel like I'm stuck in Substack hell. Please help!

Again you have hit the nail right on the head. I am hoping that Madeleine's quote will help the anxious feeling I get in the middle of the night so I can breathe and get some rest. I love this beautiful country and am completely befuddled by it's occupants...

Thank you for another wonderful way to start the day - the quiet lapping of water and looking off into the distance…

What on earth is this! Substack has started adding AI-generated transcripts to videos, and they’re making it very tricky to turn off. A few days ago I noticed strange gobbledygook halfway through another video, including something about a teaspoon butter and teaspoon olive oil. Today, more nonsense. I will bring this up with them and see what we can do, because….this won’t do. At all. I just wanted to pop in here and explain what’s going on.

(I managed to turn it off, so you won’t see the gobbledygook subtitles anymore.)

All we can ever do is the next right thing. Sometimes - many times! - that's baby steps in my case.

Thank you Clara. I am sitting and listening to the wind making the small tree at the corner of my house rub and make a distinctive sound while my wind chimes play and two of my cats cuddle on the couch. Off from work today(power off today at work for electric inspection), so will be able to enjoy the get together undistracted. 😌💖
