Good morning!

It’s Sunday, and we’re walking along the shore looking for more tidewrack and sea urchin shells. Below us, a new batch of seaweed and driftwood is making a tentative foray into a sheltered recess of the shoreline.

Can it get close enough to remain on land when the water recedes? Or will it be pulled back out into the bay with the tide, only to try again somewhere else?

“Roll on, thou deep and dark blue ocean.”

—Lord Byron

Onwards,

Clara
