Good morning! It’s Sunday, and we’re back at the Seine for our final nature Respite of our Paris adventure. How could a whole month have gone by so quickly? I marvel at how each minute contains 60 seconds, no more, no less—and yet somehow we still manage to keep an infinite assortment of tempos.
Ah, your last day! I wish for you and Clare (sp?) a safe and speedy trip home. I really should go to Paris but it's Scotland that calls me, every time. And Emerson--I should have done my thesis on Emerson. <3
So true! This morning my husband and I, from the luxury of our bed, were discussing our relaxed schedule for the day when our son called. He wanted to get my husband’s opinion about a household repair on which he was working. In the course of the discussion about each of our days plans it became clear that the pace of our lives is extraordinary different. He can’t imagine any other pace than his. I like mine better. LOL!
For some reason I was thinking about the Vikings and what they would think about the tourist boats on the river and the cyclists racing by. You have the most wonderful ability of capturing my thoughts with your pictures and narrative! Thank you, Clara, for sharing your life and adventures!🥰
I remember watching the tourist boats from our balcony when we were in Paris. I’ve throughly enjoyed seeing Paris through your camera lens this past month!
I can just hear the 'Noooooo' in your mind as your time comes to an end. It reverberates in ours every time our month in Scotland ends. And your words are so fitting as we watch the Seine versus your cove in Maine. I could watch the other for hours, but this one, to me, I could not. I would love to be able to understand the science behind the information that as we get older time speeds up. It seems time, as a construct, is malleable.

Beautiful, wow,wonderful
I can’t believe it has been a month already! Meanwhile, I could just stand in one spot all day, watching the river traffic go by. Wonderful❣️
