Good morning! It’s Saturday. And now that it’s getting dark earlier, I have even more time to stroll at dusk and pretend I’m not peeking in everyone’s windows while doing entirely that. There’s something endlessly inviting about that golden glow. It brings the comfort of home, even when it’s not your own.
Nothing more evocative than that golden glow. It made me feel safe when I was newly in Vermont and afraid of being so far from other people. Seeing the warmth of the glow from other's windows on the way home from the Tunbridge Fair made me feel connected and warm, home.
“Home” changes, as our life journeys change ! Had not stopped to realize that, but now my home is an apt in a retirement community! But thankfully we all have memories of all our past “homes” !

Here the apple fell directly under the tree! My favorite!
Gorgeous! I’m loving the architecture in France. A grandson’s love-person is teaching in Normandy and sending back such wondrous images, as do you!!
Have you been able to visit with Franklin Habit while in Paris?
I hope he is doing well.
So beautiful!
I love the architecture in Paris!
What a strikingly beautiful building! They do that so well in Paris.
Love peeking into windows to get a glimpse of how others live.
And those windows are particularly beguiling...
Home is not where you sleep but rather where you live.
