Good morning!
It’s Sunday. The sun has just awoken from its slumber and is tickling the treetops. Soon, the frost will dissolve into droplets that the plants will gratefully absorb. From indoors, it may look still. But open the window and you can hear a world that is coming alive—including a gaggle of recently returned geese currently setting up shop on the pond that’s a lake (that’s a pond). Shall we listen in?
“They heard and felt the breath of spring, and they stirred with new life and hope. There was a good, new smell in the air, a smell of earth waking after its long sleep.”
