Hallelujah❣️It seems hydrangeas are nearly indestructible, tho I have never experienced the climbing variety. I think it’s so exciting! And Hopeful, as well. My motto has been, and still is [no way of knowing for how many decades], Keep on truckin’!

We planted climbing hydrangea years ago near/on a wall outside by our deck. It went nuts and took over the wall and when we needed to paint the house we cut it down.

Unphased, it began to grow on the ground all around the deck and cherry tree nearby. It has made itself into a robust ground cover. It blooms only occasionally, but it's green all the time.

Lovely. It must be glorious when it blooms.

I didn’t even know hydrangeas climbed. They seem more like a hang out at the edge of a party full of too many hors d’oeuvres and wine kind of flowering plant.

Buzzie the bumblebee has been on my newly planted lavender. I hope both like their new digs and thrive, as I hope the new growth on the Maine bushes thrive.

I am waiting for seeds to sprout in a window box, hoping that they did not drown with all the rain we have had !!
