Good morning!
It’s Saturday, and I’ve picked us a bouquet.
We didn’t always have hawkweed in our yard. It showed up innocently enough in a place we didn’t want it. So we pulled it, more showed up, we pulled that, and the dance has continued for at least a decade. We’ve been doing our best to send it packing, and it’s been doing its best to be fruitful and multiply.
The flowers symbolize a temporary détente.
“Know thy enemy and know thy self and you will win a hundred battles.”
—Sun Tzu
Just not one with hawkweed.
Onwards we go,
Clara
Love thine enemies, or at least take the best they offer.
At first glance I thought these were dandelions ! A child’s first bouquet to Mom !
