I always felt that way about fog! In a favorite children's book, Fog Magic, on foggy days the heroine would find herself in the past... sometimes walking to school the fog would be so thick that you couldn't see more than a couple houses away, and I'd imagine seeing my town as it was a hundred years earlier. The tule fog in California is mostly gone now... but I still love foggy days, even if I have to go to San Francisco to find it. What a lovely reminder of good times long ago!
It is time travel. We can just visualize all the sailors throughout the years who relied on that bell to keep them safe from the rocks. What a beautiful way to start the day. Thank you.
I also like the blur. Just not if it socks in for weeks at a time tho.
I am imagining Mount Errigal in Donegal or Ben Nevis(highest mountain in Scotland) behind that mist, magical.💖😌✨⛰️🦄 Maybe some Celtic unicorns, too.

I would love to be in a chilly mist and fog for a change ! And to smell the ocean and hear to hear all the sounds - waves, bouys, birds…
It was 86 here yesterday, and last evening it was chilly enough by the ocean to wear a jacket. It was nature's air conditioning.
I am loving my new home in Arizona, but oh, I do miss nature's air conditioning in the Bay Area! It was 109 at 730 pm last night...
