I am imagining you walking behind a push mower? Is it motorized or the really old fashion push mower?! I have a ride on mower that I absolutely would hate to give up. My gopher filled yard is not a good place for a path unless you include the paths made by my dog chasing bikes and vultures in the sky that never land! Your path is made of dreams and queries as you stroll.

Having trouble walking and standing due to a tendon in my hip area. I miss walking without pain. Love the quote!

I ❤️ this quote!

Personally, I’m extremely grateful to have my two docs on call. I’m well north of 80 and am so thankful the joints still work - without any assistance either. Which is not to say there are other parts not quite up to snuff. We all come with built in obsolescence.

Excellent quote. You've inspired me to take the twins out for a walk to get things "in gear" again.

I wonder if that's where the saying, about getting the rear in gear, comes from...something to ponder as I walk.

That path is beautiful. I imagine it also helps to be able to walk a cut path and stay out of the weeds and the ticks. Love the quote - perfect reminder to move.

That’s it exactly. There are times for excursions deep into the woods, and there are times when one simply needs to walk and sort out thoughts — without constantly checking to see how many ticks you’ve picked up.

That looks like a path to wellness of body and soul. There's nothing like a meander to give us strength and courage to move forward. And that quote is brilliant!

I named it “the contemplative path” as a joke at first, but that’s exactly what it’s become.
