Clara, I love the way you think. Love the palaces you create with words. “The milkweed cafe” - brilliant. Made me smile big. Thank you for all you bring to the table. ♥️

I have been on a mission to have resident milkweed in my garden but it has been an up and down journey. I got one milkweed bare root and planted it in a pot and dropped it off in my neighbors yard and we have had success with it but not in any of the seeds we have tried to scatter and/or germinate! I have not given up but I am again envious of your garden where it seems like they are growing willy nilly!

We've got native swamp milkweed by our parking lot at work, in bloom. I don't see any monarchs yet, but some bees and one very happy little ant(even ants love milkweed)💖😌

I’m looking forward to watching all of our milkweed get eaten by the monarchs! We’ve slowly started seeing more and more monarchs lately.

Beautiful butterfly. I actually have a hand knit colorwork sweater with a swallowtail butterfly on the front. Designer Jamie Hoffman.

The monarchs are still here in San Diego. They found the habitat we built for them and decided to stay. 😊

Beautiful. wonderful for the butterflies, and if it is like the milkweed I am familiar with, it has a wonderful scent also. The quote is exactly spot on. Robin Wall Kimmerer calls this "a gift economy". Thank you

What a fabulous photo! And Nichiren is so right—if we don’t reach out to others, especially now, shame on us.

There are so many bright butterflies that we miss by being busy in our own lives. We need to stop, look and listen to nature.
