Good morning!
It’s Sunday, and class is dismissed. We’ve done enough learning for the week. I’ve walked us down to the water so we can watch the churning of our normally calm waters and let the wind clear our cobwebs.
A curtain of clouds has swept across the water, concealing what the other side of the bay really looks like. I wonder what’s there? Maybe there’s a modern city skyline? Or an amusement park with an old ferris wheel? Or a fleet of clipper ships?
Or what if everyone was wrong and the world is, indeed, flat—and we’re gazing at the precise spot where everything falls over the edge?
“Our view of reality is only a view, not reality itself.”
