Good morning! It’s Friday, and the garlic we faithfully planted back in October has survived the winter. Having grown tall and strong, and it’s now ready to harvest.
Oh, great harvest. My garden is pretty sad this year, because of the combination between too dry weather and my very bad allergy. I couldn't be committed as previously I was, but garlic and onion are something that reminds me for previous intentions.
Love this quote, wasn't heard it before, but it's so true.
Our CSA is harvesting in a couple of days. I’ll be there, happy to be near the earth. Our flower CSA provides a weekly bouquet. The strawflowers are hanging in the guest room! In a challenging world there are wonderful realities!!
Yum!!

Love the quote. Very appropriate in these times. Great looking garlic.
We are lost without hope!
Hope is the thing with feathers…or maybe a tiny powerhouse of flavor.
Planting is hope incarnate!
It really is.
Is it time?!?
I KNOW, right?! (Usually we wait a week too long and the skins end up cracking in January, so we decided to trust our instinct and yank now.)
There’s something to be said about routine, to keep us organized and on the right path !
