Good morning! It’s Thursday. Continuing our parade of renegades and outliers and persisters, we now cast an admiring eye over the secret squiggles and wiggles and jigjags hiding at the very core of an otherwise upright, stalwart tree who gave its life to become next winter’s firewood.
The photo reminded me of pages in a book. What stories could that tree tell? The older I get, the more I realize how precious Mister Rogers was to our world.
Perfect!
Bless good ole Mr Roger
Loved Mr Rogers! He was so wise! That piece of wood has gone something! We’ll never know…..
“renegades and outliers and persisters“
Amazing! He was such a miracle of a person for children. And adults, I suppose. Loved that piece of wood; there are days....
Ahhhh, Mr. Rogers! What a dear person! His wisdom is always welcome, wanted and embraced. As long as we have memories of him, we will have hope.
And for the tree - that piece has waves perfect for aspiring surfers! There must be a fascinating story behind their creation.
Wonder if the flames from this log will be as unique and special as Fred Rogers.
This is such a wonderful, timeless quote. We all need to remember our own unique value and to be open to the same in others.

We need more Fred Rogers in our world.
The photo is great, how interesting. Love the quote and Mr. Roger’s.
Mr Roger’s comforted me throughout a challenging early childhood. I will always love him.
My love and admiration for Fred Rodger’s is boundless, how lucky we are that we shared space on Earth with this man!
