Good morning!
It’s Wednesday. Every so often I’ll be walking through the woods and come across something that is very clearly a trail—and a trail that I didn’t make.
These are the paths of the animals. Just knowing that they are navigating the same land as I am, carrying out their routines, living their lives, doing their to-ing and fro-ing, is profoundly humbling.
Even more humbling is when, after a good snow, I discover that the animals have used one of my trails. Could there be any greater honor?

Onwards we go,
Clara
The Earth is, indeed, what we all have in common. Let’s do everything in our collective power to preserve it so that travelers of any species can navigate it in peace. 🙏🏻
It’s a great day that starts off with a Wendell Berry quote & a wonderful food-for-thought & imaginative DR post.
Thank you, Clara. 🧡
