Good morning!

It’s Sunday, and I’ve taken us back to Luxembourg Gardens to gaze at the wibbly-wobbly waters in the octagonal duck pond that goes by the far more glamorous name, “le Grand Bassin.”

The sailboats aren’t out in the winter. But the sun chose now to make a very brief appearance. Everyone, as if drawn by some invisible force, has come to this spot to savor the warmth.

We stand here and feel the sun and the breeze and listen to the comforting sounds of others enjoying one-another’s company. Mesmerized by the waters, we can slowly, slowly feel ourselves return to center.

“For a time, I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.”

Onwards we go,
