Good morning! It’s Tuesday. I was in the Luxembourg Gardens yesterday, sitting in one of their green chairs and knitting stitches for the sake of feeling yarn move through my fingers, when I realized Bear was nowhere to be found.
Clara, I love your thoughts and well-written prose. Please continue putting it out there for all of us to enjoy.
I'm not a paid member, but I would if I could support you in that manner. I'm 80, on a very fixed social security and medicare income, and have many health problems to pay for to maintain my health.
Bear was nowhere to be found because Bear ran over to the Pompidou to see the Suzanne Valadon show. . . and wants to be sure that you all go over to look at those paintings.
I think, for the coming years, I'm going to create a journal of quotations to ponder and lean on, to help me focus on goodness and wisdom and hope. this will be the first page.
Poor Bedside Bear!! (by the way BB makes me remember all the Winnie the Pooh-isms I love!) What a wonderful way to help young folks understand the WHY of stuff!!! Community matters, and it takes all of us to make it work... Ah Clara, Clara.... thank you.

I totally understand! I value and appreciate you as a supportive reader. 😊
Wonderful story at the end
You broke me when BB lifted up his arms to be put back in your pocket. The sweetness.

And I sure wish I were there to do the same.
So glad you found him. That word unity seems pretty distant right now.💖😌
What a beautiful quote, and so appropriate for today's times. I am so glad you are in France.
Charming bear❣️PLUS, “to love is to gaze in the same direction”!!! What a revelation❣️Omy. Merci❣️
Such a dear Bear! Please remind him to not wander off. I would be so sad if he was lost and some mean person kept him.

I love those words: common good and all that they mean. And I love Bear.
Silly old bear. Im glad he gets to explore Paris with you. He'll have many adventures to report back to Ducky.

One of my longest and most beloved quotes!!!
Bear❤️!
Love the quote. Poor Bear! He is right but your explanation is also true. The common good often means sacrifice.
Oh my! "...in the same direction." WOW that's wonderful. Here's to the horizon!
Good ol common bear sense.
