Good morning!
It’s Sunday, and the snow has returned. It timed its arrival to coincide with the lowest of low tides. Rocks that are normally submerged are being treated to the cozy but fleeting comfort of a fresh blanket of snowflakes. Soon the tide will shift and the water will reclaim its stones. Until then, we stand here and watch in silence.
“To be quiet, even wordless, in a good place is a better gift than poetry.”
—Wendell Berry
