Good morning!

It’s Sunday, and the world continues to be covered in thick, whipped-cream dollops of snow. Looking out the window, everything seems perfectly still and silent and locked in a frozen stasis. But is it really? I know exactly where we can go for the answer.

We’ve put on our snow boots and headed outside. The only sounds are our feet cracking through the candy coating of ice and sinking deep into the snow. We stomp and clod and toddle our way to this spot. We watch, we listen, and we soon realize how much is still happening right beneath the surface.

“In the stillness of the quiet, if we listen, we can hear the whisper of the heart giving strength to weakness, courage to fear, hope to despair.”
