Good morning!
It’s Saturday. Yesterday started with barely a whimper. But by early afternoon, the gusts had become so strong, they were playing our house like a cello. During a lull in the concert, I spotted something unusual beneath the bird feeders. Evening Grosbeaks, six or more, blown here why who knows what wind or which Yelp review.
Did you know that the proper collective noun for grosbeaks is a charm? And so ‘twas that we got to host an unexpected charm of grosbeaks before the wind picked up and everyone swiftly departed for shelter.
“The wind is blowing, adore the wind.”
—Pythagoras
Onwards we go,
Clara

What a lovely quote- I always feel cleansed and refreshed when I am in the wind- I swear I breathe better to. That is a great lamp —so pretty!
I love that description of the wind "playing your house like a cello." I can imagine how that sounds! And evening grosbeaks! I had to look them up! Oh my, they're gorgeous with their yellow feathers. I don't think I've ever seen them here in the south although we do have many finches. Thank you for a lovely start to my day.
