Good morning!

It’s Thursday, and as we near the darkest day of the year, my favorite menagerie has been put back into service. Every morning and evening, I light the candles and wait for their warmth to drift upwards and tickle the propellers, prompting them to spin and set the whole menagerie in silent, graceful motion.

It’s as low-tech as they come. No batteries or wifi signal required. Nothing to click, no cords, and no annoying hardware upgrades or software updates except for the occasional candle.

Around and around it twirls, powered by nothing more than the natural movement of warm air. And yet it is entirely enough.
