Good morning! It’s Monday, and our world is once again frozen. Overnight temps have shot down to such low levels that even the crows, normally so hardy, are staying tucked in their beds until well after sunrise.
Perfect marriage of photograph, writing and quote. I have always found the deep, frozen, stillness of winter exquisitely beautiful...from moss to stars. Thank you!
We got snow!!! Your photo reminds me of a short poem I saw many years ago in the old farmers almanac about newly frozen puddles, “little houses roofed with glass”
Beautiful
I love that quote--I've never seen it and don't recognize his name.

I enjoy your found beauty. And your photography skills! Then, your resplendent imagination…
Tiny diamonds. Clara your writing makes me so happy.
what a beautiful quote and picture. I miss winter. Here in Delaware, winter so rarely visits that I am headed to WV later this month to visit her.
Tiny moss trees❣️The flowers of winter. Beautiful❣️
Oh that’s so pretty!!
What a delightful picture! The wee tufts of moss must feel as though their Fairy Godmother visited and sprinkled them with magical pixie diamond dust!
33 here now. Love the quote.
A frozen treat for our eyes this Monday morning! We are 48 this morning!

Thanks for putting a great spin on winter weather. I am not a great fan of the season of winter but it is nice see that others are able to enjoy it.
Beautiful quote and photo. Mr. Burroughs must be a winter person. ❄️❄️❄️💖😌
A simple bit of frost makes a bit of moss a work of art…how simple !
