Good morning!
It’s Monday, and Mother Nature’s seed distribution is now in full swing. Here, before a gust of wind or passing person disturbs these hollyhock seeds, we will pause to admire their beauty.
They were created to be jumbled and scattered far and wide, to be made a mess. But first, here in the womb of what used to be the flower, could there be a more orderly perfection?
“The heavens themselves, the planets and this centre
Observe degree, priority and place,
Insisture, course, proportion, season, form,
Office and custom, in all line of order.”—William Shakespeare
Onwards,
Clara

How lucky and blessed we are to have eyes to see, feelings to take in, joy to share this natural gift of the season, flowers fading into seed heads, into the earth again over winter. And then, “to survive death’s blow, alive, to make another spring.” Last line of a poem my grannie wrote.
Thank you, clara, for the beauty.
And it's a lovely palate for a color work sweater. Thank you Clara.
