My husband took a similar video in the early morning during our trip to Maui. You can hear the ocean and a variety of birds he sent it to me and told me to save it so I could watch and listen anytime I need something calming. He knows how much I enjoy the Daily Respite and especially Sunday’s posts. Hearing all the beautiful birds in todays video was the best way to start the day!

Spring - how glorious. I love owls. When I lived in the woods in WV, sans air conditioning, I could hear the owls all night long. i love owls. My late husband did several large wood burned owl pictures - in their habitats - which I still have displayed in my DE house.

Yes, I do the same here in VT. Also to hear coy dogs and the occasional bobcat. But the owls are the best.
And yes, can't wait for creemee season! However, our favorite spot had a truck go through the front so we may have to wait a bit longer than usual.
