My little pond on my WV farm also hosted spring peepers- such a wonderful spring sound.

Oh My! Thank you so much! I moved into the city 5 years ago and I still think about the peepers every spring. The spring nights are so quiet.

Now THIS makes me want to catch the next plane to come be with you! It’s beautiful here in AZ but the peepers activate some primal part of me❤️

Such a beautiful lullaby. And proof that little ponds can grow big ideas!

This is such a delightful, calming sound. Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us.

Peepers!!!!!! No pond within earshot but sometimes the seasonal runoff creek has them.... my harbinger of true spring is the first woodpeckers (and the vultures high up riding the thermals)...both are here!

That and the sound of toads trilling are the two most soothing sounds in nature. I was in West Virginia in April years ago at an inn in the mountains near Snowshoe. At dusk, the peepers started and they sang all night(there was a small creek behind the inn. They sang me to sleep.💖😌

Though I love the season of wooly sweaters and fires, I’m with Mahler on this one!

As someone raised in England I still miss the cuckoo’s call every spring!

Oh I BET! That must be such a special sound.

Yes! I’m afraid American peepers just don’t do anything for me!

Wood frogs are singing too!
