Beautiful setting. Perfect timing for us At the last minute this morning, I just had to go once more to Dunkeld and the cathedral, my piece of heaven on earth. Lo and behold we had a beautiful sunny day, and we were able to sit on a bench on the riverbank of The River Tay. It was a perfect place to contemplate and be grateful.
I'm having one of those days today. It's raining so I'm mostly sitting on my sofa, contemplating fiber and yarn, exploring ideas that are just starting to germinate.
Down time. That mysterious recharger of the spirit. My husband has a childhood friend who taught English at Smith College and when two of our kids went to Smith we discovered a bench there dedicated to the memory of his old friend.
It looks out over the lake and is a prime location for relaxed contemplation. One of this world’s perfect spots.
That photo gradation would make a gorgeous sweater!
So beautiful . The pic and Maya. Thank you!
yes take it easy, relax nothing to do, yes love the quote!
Wonderful quote. I’ll just take some time on the bench to relax and reflect
That is such a beautifully restful picture!

Perfection 😊
That is, indeed, a perfect bench. I shall take my brain there for a respite. Thank you.
Thanks for that bench and that view - I needed it!
This bench, this view, these words from the wisest of women—perfect start to the long weekend. 🙏🏻
I know that bench! Makes me miss Maine. Maybe you saw my mom there. It’s her favorite spot ❤️☀️
How wonderful❣️
Perfect!
That *is* an excellent bench but the one on the point over to your right from there is even better IMHO.
I knew you'd know where this was!

I love the idea of your husband being able to spend time with his childhood friend whenever he needs a visit - THAT is a good bench indeed.
OMGosh…how lovely…
Our son was just on campus for a reunion and sent us a photo from Ron’s bench!
Love that❣️
