Oh no! This is why I have switched to daffodils in my garden.

It’s the squirrels, They love tulips! So I plant daffodils.

I went to a tulip farm today. Amazing! Row after row of raised beds blazing with saturated colour. So deeply satisfying to walk down those rows and enjoy the display.

Arrghhhhh. I’ve found that if I intersperse hyacinths with tulips, rabbits don’t eat my tulips. Same with deer?

The deer knew you needed to make some dandelion wine.

Are you sure it was deer & not little Bear getting out for a midnight snack? 🤣

How tragic for you after all your effort. However, the deer treated themselves to a gourmet meal. It would be nice if they did eat the dandelions for an appetizer.

What a perfect quote❣️Especially for the season of Renewal (which I suppose is when the ground thaws)?

Naughty deer! When we moved (almost 5 years now!) our new house came with a fenced back yard so I planted tulips! They are a treat.

They have good taste?☺️

The leaves must be delicious! I prefer dandelions myself, in a spring salad or, more so, steamed and treated with a dash of vinegar.
