Good morning!
It’s Tuesday. And in the wee hours of the morning, the earth stepped in front of the sun and cast the full moon in total darkness.
This particular moon is called the worm or sugar moon, presumably for the worms and beetles now emerging from their winter slumber and the maple trees being tapped for their syrup.
How ironic that a symbol of rebirth and awakening should be blotted out like that. But the disappearance was only temporary. Ever so slowly, the earth inched away and our moon reappeared—now bigger and brighter and fuller than ever.
