Good morning! It’s Thursday, and I have something beautiful for you.

Meet Aurelia aurita, also known as the moon jelly. Something between a haunted lampshade and a dancing umbrella, this luminous jellyfish has no real mode of propulsion. It just drifts with the current in a perpetual dance of surrender.

Update: This is a live camera that apparently is not lit during the night. If you tried earlier and all you saw was darkness with relaxing music, do come back in a few hours when Aurelia aurita is awake again. I promise, it’s worth it.

Until tomorrow,

Clara

This is the most calming thing I have seen in a very long time. I’m going to watch it forever.
