Good morning!
It’s Tuesday, and we’re getting closer and closer to what I call Househenge Day. Some of you may recall that I live in a house that doubles as a sundial. Twice a year, usually around the equinox, the sun performs a magic trick. She enters our one east-facing window and sends a ray of light down the kitchen, dining room, and living room floors, ending with a radiant glow in the very center of the hearth.
It doesn’t last long. Within a matter of days the sun migrates to the left side of the fireplace before disappearing down the hall and making a run for the front door.
I know we’re getting close, because the sun has just arrived on the right side of the fireplace. Consider it an amuse-bouche for what’s to come.
“It is always timely and virtuous to change—to take in all humility a new path.”
—Bayard Rustin
Onwards,
Clara

Love watching the sun move about the house, a clear announcement of change. ☀️🌞🙏🏻
