Good morning!
It’s Monday, and guess who showed up at our front door over the weekend? Our friend the rosy maple moth.
Fear not, this moth has no interest in woolens. The smallest of silk moths, Rosy’s preferred diet consists primarily of maple leaves, though she’ll occasionally take a nibble on oak leaves if she’s feeling peckish.
Meanwhile, the bluejays, chickadees, and titmice occasionally take a nibble on Rosy when they’re feeling peckish—and around and around it goes.
“The welfare of each is bound up in the welfare of all.”

Onwards,
Clara

She's fancy :-)
We don't have them here (Colorado) as far as I know. Had to look them up. In some of the pictures they are absolutely adorable, cuddly even. Thank you for a very bright start to my day!
