It’s Tuesday, and we’ve arrived at the last day of June.
On the heels of yesterday’s crazy ocean-powered organ, today we venture deep into the Luray Caverns in the Shenandoah National Park. In 1954, a young man bumped his head on a stalactite and it made a musical sound. His father, an electronic scientist and mathematician, decided to turn those stalactites into an organ. A stalacpipe organ.
