Good morning! It’s Wednesday, and we’re still drifting through the post-graduation time-memory continuum on our way back to the present. I rather love that we’re staying in a town on the North Shore of Boston that—at least in the timeframe for this country—has a very long history.

I look at the many grassy areas where houses must have stood and houses like this one in mid-coast Maine that have old apple trees and lilac bushes and think about the people who planted and loved them long ago.
