Good morning!
Welcome to Monday. As we set out on a brand new week, may we remember to lift our eyes off the trail every once in a while.
Who knows, we might even be rewarded by a young spruce with perfect posture, glimmering in the spotlight of a sunbeam.
It’s all there, waiting for us to see it.
“To pay attention, this is our endless and proper work.”
—Mary Oliver
Onwards we go,
Clara
While picking our currants yesterday I listened to “the Hidden Life of Trees.”🌳
And today the quintessential spruce, takes my breath away. Thanks Clara!!
I had a volume of Mary Oliver's Selected Poems nearby during a recent internet outage. I simply opened a page and read and then opened in another spot. Never a dull or unenlightening moment.
