Good morning! It’s Thursday, and we’ve come down the long dirt road to stand in the room where I slept when I was a kid. It’s warm and quiet and instantly comforting.
I have only visited Maine once (unfortunately) but brought a bell buoy home with me. It hangs on the eave of our porch and I am able to enjoy it there.
I’ve made that same emotional journey about bats. The more I learned about their behavior and purposes the less I feared them. They are amazing creatures.
Sensory memories from times gone by can bring great comfort. Your calm, earnest words speak volumes about your childhood experiences. They flow smoothly as if to convey the breeze that gently sways those lacey curtains and soothes the heart.
Bats are the best mosquito repellent around. They will leave through a window once the clear the bedroom. 😊 Oh to have the memories of a lived in room! I still can vividly conjour my childhood bedroom where I spent from 2nd to 12th grade.
