Today is Sunday, and I have treat for you.
Long before the pandemic—a decade ago, in fact—choral conductor and composer Eric Whitacre launched a “virtual choir” on YouTube as a sort of social experiment. If the choir’s latest performance is any indication, I’d say the experiment has been a resounding success.
Prepare to hear the voices of 17,572 people from 129 countries singing Whitacre’s composition, “Sing Gently.” (The choir credits run twice as long as the actual song.)
“Then the singing enveloped me. It was furry and resonant, coming from everyone's very heart. There was no sense of performance or judgment, only that the music was breath and food.”

My gratitude to fellow respiter Sue for sharing this.
I’ll see you tomorrow,
