Good morning!
It’s Monday. They’re celebrating Bastille Day in France, commemorating the storming of the Bastille prison by an angry mob in 1789, signaling the start of the French Revolution.
And here in Maine, we’re celebrating the storming of the birdseed cafe by a very handsome skunk with excellent table manners, signaling that I will soon need to get more birdseed.
But with such distinguished clientele, how can I resist?
“Give with a heart glowing with generous sentiments; give as the fountain gives out its waters from its own swelling depths; give as the air gives its vital breezes, unrestrained and free; give as the sun gives out its light, from the infinite abysses of its own nature.”
—Augustine of Hippo

Great quote- I’m adding it to the saved quotes. Then I immediately thought of this: It’s only the giving that makes you what your are” —Jethro Tull
Fine looking skunk!
