Good morning! It’s Friday, and there’s a new rooster in town. I’m not quite sure where this one lives, but I’m pretty sure he’s new at being a rooster. Every morning he lets out the most amusing and sincere tentative squawks, as if he’s been watching YouTube videos for guidance.
When my parents bought their house it came with two chickens and a rooster. The rooster was the meanest bird I’ve ever met and I swear he loved voicing his displeasure at the world during random times of the day.
What a great image. Reminds me, too, of puppies first learning to bark (or howl, depending on the breed), LOL Sometimes they get this look of surprise, like they don't know where THAT came from. Thank you for the laugh.
